Inside the Purbeck Cottage
A lovingly restored 17th-century cottage in the heart of Corfe Castle, created for slow mornings, long lunches, fireside evenings and time spent together.
-

Time
The Purbeck Cottage is a place to slow down and spend time together — to laugh, celebrate, share old stories and create new memories. Lovingly restored, it brings the character of its 17th-century past together with the comforts of modern life.
-

Time to Cook
Bespoke and handmade by local craftspeople, our beautifully equipped kitchen has everything you need for slow breakfasts, long lunches and suppers shared with family and friends.
-

Time to Eat
Gather around the dining table with the best of Purbeck’s local produce, or step outside to eat beneath the stars in the courtyard garden. A place for good food, good company and nowhere else to be.
-

Time to Rest
Settle into the sitting room beside the log burner, surrounded by natural materials, soft furnishings and warm, gentle light — a cosy place to read, talk or simply do very little.
-

Time to Sleep
Two peaceful bedrooms — one king-size and one double — are dressed in beautiful Normandy linens, with blackout shutters for slow mornings and restful nights. Both share our spacious Venetian-plastered bathroom.
-

Time to Linger
Our private, enclosed courtyard is made for lingering — morning coffee, an unhurried lunch or a glass of something at the end of a day exploring Purbeck’s beaches, hills and countryside.
